Taken from a large Moleskin sketch book this painting shows Fairfield from somewhere near the YHA in Easdale. Fairfield evokes a great deal of good memories for me, it being part of the famous Fairfield Horseshoe round, one of the classic Lake District walks, and therefore one of the walks I can proudly profess to having done myself.

This painting is created mainly in watercolour, with some aditional detail being added in Letraset Promarker.
