The distinctive silhouette of Bolton Abbey is one of the famous ‘biscuit tin’ scenes of the Yorkshire Dales.  I thought I’d mix things up a little, putting a field of yellow rape in the foreground, a most welcome splash of colour in what has been a rather grim couple of months weather wise in Yorkshire.
