What started out as a practice plate worked upon whilst at Cascada Studios ended turning into something quite beautiful.  The deep scratches in the original copper plate suggested an image of a telegraph pole, so rather than ignore the marks I produced this image of the group of fat pigeons sat on telegraph wires.

Thanks again to Marianne for all her help and patience over the week of my stay.  Anyone interested in etching and aquatint, and for that matter linocut, should get saving now and pay Cascada Studios a visit.
