This image is the results of a week of hard learning at the amazing Cascada Studios in Mijas Spain under the expert tutelage of Marianne.  Believe me when I say a lot of blood, sweat and tears went in the creation of this print.  Well, I’d be being a little dramatic if I said tears, but certainly the first two are spot on!

The image is taken from earlier iPad sketch of the cloud formation, which is hopefully somewhere near the truth?  I then added the ground, a sketch of Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent which I think works well to tie everything together.

I am very excited to start working a series of etching and aquatints.  Watch this space…
